Irène Frölich-Wiener, the gifted sculptress, explores her life and work, here in conversation with her friend. A film by ► Anthony Edels
A impressive film by ► Javier Morgarde. Images about egypt people. Intensiv and an invitation to another wonderful culture. Shot in a calm and respectful way.
This is a short piece I've done with some shots of people and places I met in Egypt while I was shooting a tourism programme for a flight company in December 2009.
The main theme is "Ah Men El-Fora2" by Amr Diab, covered by a super talented egyptian musician called MARWAN ANWER. The intro is extracted from a song called "Beirut Goes to Cuba".
A soul touching story…

In August 2010, myself and two other film students went to Africa to make a film for the non-profit Project Concern. I went through a lot making this film — it was a difficult first film, and a mesmerizing experience.

I really love handmade surf boards, and espacially the wooden. Imagine standing on a board like this, your feet on breathing wood and you surf the elements…

I love this film, it shows so much about the human race. In a very positive way.
One man's struggle to transcend.
This humble film is about a friend of mine named Michael and his daily ritual to find his natural self through surfing.
